วันธรรมชัย คือ วันอุปสมบทของหลวงพ่อธัมมชโย วัดพระธรรมกาย คำว่า “ธรรมชัย” มาจากฉายาของหลวงพ่อธัมมยโชที่ได้รับในวันอุปสมบท มีความหมายว่า "ผู้ชนะโดยธรรม"
