อเล็กซ็องชอบพระเดชพระคุณหลวงพ่อมากเขาบอกว่า "หลวงพ่อเป็นสุภาพบุรุษ (gentil ภาษาฝรั่งเศสอ่านว่า จองที) องอาจ สง่า กล้าหาญ แต่แฝงไปด้วยความเมตตาและอ่อนโยน ผมชอบรอยยิ้มของหลวงพ่อมาก เห็นครั้งแรกปุ๊บก็ชอบทันทีเลย แม้ว่าผมจะไม่เข้าใจภาษาไทย แต่ว่าน้ำเสียงของหลวงพ่อ เป็นเสียงที่ อ่อนโยน (doux อ่านว่า ดู) นุ่มนวล ผมประทับใจ และอยาก มาบวชเป็นพระอย่างหลวงพ่อครับ"
